Helpful verbs

jogar à ("to play"), ganhar ("to win"), correr ("to run"), divertir-se ("to have fun"), e.g.:

Grammar Point: plural verb forms

When the subject is plural, e.g.: eles ("they"), os meus amigos ("my friends"), the verb usually ends in -m. For example, Os meus amigos cantam bem ("My friends sing well"). For some verbs, the ending is -ão, e.g.: Eles são ("They are"). Future verb forms also end in -ão. For example, Eles cantarão ("They will sing"). You can learn more about Portuguese verbs here.
